Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
